EXHIBITION – Montreal
Imperfect Health: The Medicalisation of Architecture was an exhibition held at the Canadian Centre for Architecture, which explored the modernist project’s therapeutic ambitions which, often led to radical and damaging effects. Two glass walls, supported by a steel structure of columns and beams, were inserted in the enfilade space of the gallery, passing through the existing doors and interrupting the regular routes of visitors. As the glass had a semi-reflective coating, it not only isolated the visitors from the exhibits scattered around, but also doubled the views of what was in front of it.
