FLOWER TOWER – Tirana
The Flower Tower, a 100m-tall tower in central Tirana, merges commercial spaces, residential units, and a hotel, to cater burgeoning urban development of Albania’s capital. Shaped by Tirana’s natural and urban context, the tower’s fluid and multidirectional form adapts carefully to the site and echoes the nearby mountains, lake, and park. With no defined front or back, it allows easy access and direct connections to the surrounding streets. An expressive facade of circular columns and curved floor plates encloses green terraces, a panoramic restaurant, a vertical garden with a monumental spiral staircase, and diverse housing types. The Flower Tower combines mixed-use program with green and public spaces to offer a sustainable urban model that stands as a new landmark for Tirana.
