AWC 3 – THE URBAN PARADOX
The following 12 projects are products of an experiment driven by one crucial consideration: is it possible to develop a viable architectural solution for a specific programme and site through the appropriation and mutation of a given form. As extreme as this proposal may sound, we were not seeking to divorce the design process from considerations of function and locality. Our intention was rather to reconsider the balance of allegiance that any work of architecture owes to its physical and cultural contexts.
